1.               Purpose of Collection

The purposes for which personal data relating to a customer may be used are as follows:

1.1             Obligatory purposes

If a customer does not want their personal data for any of the purposes listed in paragraphs 1.1.1.1 to 1.1.1.5 below, Chope will not be able to provide the services requested.

1.1.1        All kinds of personal data about a customer will be used for:-

1.1.1.1     the provision of online restaurant table bookings for customers;

1.1.1.2     the provision of an online managed reservations service to restaurants at which the customer has reserved a table;

1.1.1.3     the backing up of restaurant booking data by both Chope and the restaurant which will include the customer’s personal data;

1.1.1.4     purposes directly related to any of the above;

1.2             Voluntary purposes

The customer’s consent is required for Chope to use personal data for the purpose stated in paragraphs 1.2.1.1 and 1.2.1.2 below and if the customer advises Chope that they do not want their personal data used for such purpose, Chope and the restaurant will not do so.

1.2.1        The customer’s name and contact details (including any address(es), telephone numbers and email addresses) provided by the customer to Chope will be used for:-

1.2.1.1     marketing Chope’s online reservation services and/or related products; and

1.2.1.2     marketing the restaurant’s products.

2.               Classes of transferees

Data held by Chope will be kept confidential but Chope may provide such information to:-

2.1             any person or company (including the relevant restaurant) who is acting for or on behalf of Chope, or jointly with Chope, in respect of the specific purposes or purposes directly related to those specific purposes for which the data were provided;

2.2             any person or company who is under a duty of confidentiality to Chope to provide services to Chope in connection with the operation of Chope’s web hosting services;

2.3             any financial institutions or credit card issuing companies, credit information or reference bureaus or debt collection agencies necessary to establish and support the payment of any services requested; and

2.4             any law enforcement agencies and/or regulatory bodies for compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, codes and/or guidelines.

3.               Access to Personal Data

You have a right of access and correction with respect to your personal data. Your right of access includes the right to obtain your personal data subject to payment of a fee.
